It is a very ductile and malleable material to be produced.
There are different metal qualities (brass, aluminium, steel,…).
Recently a new material is applied for button production: zamak, which is mainly composed by zinc, aluminium, magnesium and copper. Thanks to its easy printability through die casting, it is suitable to obtein different geometries, that make it a very employed material, both for technical and mechanical features. It is widespread for technical accessories and sportswear.
