Corozo is a natural, plant-based material derived from the fruit of a tropical palm native to Ecuador. Also known as “vegetable ivory” due to its striking resemblance to animal ivory. Unlike ivory, however, corozo is completely eco-friendly and cruelty-free.

Corozo buttons stand out for their unique natural grain, giving each piece character and authenticity. Thanks to its high dye absorption feature, corozo can be colored in a wide range of shades, always keeping its original texture — highlighted and enhanced at every stage of production.
