Mother of Pearl
An unmistakable shine for the most classic and iconic buttons.
The most prized mother of pearl, commonly known as MOP, is light-colored with an iridescent sheen. Other qualities used for buttons include Trocas (notable for its conical shape), River Shell (optically white with low iridescence), Tahiti bivalve shell (originating from Polynesia, as the name suggests, characterized by a pearl grey color with remarkable iridescence) and Akoya (very small in size and thickness, sourced from the seas of Japan).
Our company selects only shells protected by International Regulations aimed at preserving and safeguarding the marine environment.
